A New Friendship & A Peacock Crossing

Image
🌿 A New Friendship & A Peacock Crossing 🌿 This summer we met our neighbor Sandy, who has a beautiful bird farm filled with peacocks, ducks, and chickens. She’s quickly become a dear friend. My son Robert made her a special sign: “Peacock Crossing – Next 1/4 Mile.” A simple way to share his creativity and celebrate community. Come spring, the sign will be proudly displayed as the birds roam again. Until then, we’re grateful for new friendships and the simple joys of country living.

🍂 Fall is in the air at Miracle Farms 🍂 The leaves are turning, the air is crisp, and my son has been busy creating some beautiful handcrafted pieces you’re going to love. From festive “Happy Thanksgiving” signs to unique wooden trays, each piece is made with care (and a whole lot of creativity). Perfect for adding a touch of fall to your home—or gifting to someone special this season. Which one would you pick for your home? 🍁🎃

Building the Future

Building the Future at Miracle Farms This season at Miracle Farms has been one of learning, adjusting, and laying the groundwork for what’s ahead. Our soil has been a bit of a challenge—especially with the stubborn clay—so we’ve taken a break from planting flowers to focus on mending the soil and understanding its needs. It’s a season of patience and preparation, knowing that strong roots require healthy ground. But that’s not all—this year is also about expansion. With our son’s innovations through cncmillingUP and the addition of our sawmill, we’re building tools and systems that will make the work at Miracle Farms more efficient and sustainable. From custom-built pieces to thoughtful process improvements, these additions will help us care for the land and bring future projects to life. It’s a season of quiet progress—learning, building, and getting ready for the beautiful things still to come.

From Wood to Wonder

From Wood to Wonder: A Teen Entrepreneur’s Journey into CNC Milling There’s something truly powerful about watching a dream take shape — especially when that dream is carved in wood. This past year, my son has been building something incredible: a CNC milling business from the ground up. What started as a simple interest has grown into a passion for design, precision, and craftsmanship. With each engraved piece of wood, he’s not just shaping beautiful, meaningful creations — he’s shaping his future. But what’s even more exciting? He’s not doing it alone. He’s teamed up with a few other young entrepreneurs — kids with grit, creativity, and an eye for opportunity. Together, they’re learning the ins and outs of small business, working with their hands, solving problems, and supporting one another every step of the way. Tomorrow marks a huge milestone: their very first farmers market! They’ll be showing and selling their creations — from custom engraved signs and home decor to m...

🌿 Welcome to Miracle Farms

🌿 Welcome to Miracle Farms Established 2023 — Rooted in Faith, Family & Fresh Beginnings Hi friend—I’m Lisa, and I’m so glad you’re here. Miracle Farms began as a small dream in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2023. What started with a few raised beds, stubborn clay soil, and a whole lot of prayer has grown into a space where we’re learning to cultivate more than just vegetables—we’re growing a life that’s grounded, nourishing, and full of purpose. We raise: Fruits like apples, plums, cherries, and blueberries 🍎🫐 Herbs, lettuce, sweet peas, onions, and summer tomatoes 🌿 Sunflowers and lilacs that make our space (and hearts) bloom 🌻💜 But more than that, Miracle Farms is a place of learning. A place where we celebrate small harvests, messy starts, and the kind of growth you don’t always see at first glance. We’re not experts—we’re just a family working the soil, stewarding what we have, and chasing a simple, meaningful life. Thanks for joining the journ...
